Welcome to Betty and the Backbeats, an extraordinary retro rock 'n' roll band with a truly vintage twist!
Made up of 4-5 core musicians at the peak of their powers, they strut, jump and jive around weddings, parties, and functions around the UK and Europe performing their perfectly prepared pop mashups and quirky and inventive arrangements as part of a slick live show igniting any dance floor like no other band out there!
With 4 piece harmonies led by their showstopping frontwoman, Betty and the Backbeats create a live sound and vibe like no other band with jiving drums, thumping double bass, glorious guitar licks, and optional saxophone/harmonica to send your wedding or event into the party times stratosphere!
Betty and the Backbeats not only sound fantastic but are eye-catching too with their retro style reminiscent of the golden age of rock 'n' roll. As a live wedding band, party band, or corporate entertainment, they excel at entertaining with a great repertoire of songs and energetic stage show. Pop-punk in a soul style? 90s hits with a doo-wop twist? RnB anthems with rock 'n' roll overtones? Betty and her gang can perform all this and more alongside all the songs you, your friends, family or guests, and colleagues love!
Betty and the Backbeats have serious pedigree like all acts here at Seventh Second with members earning their stripes on the London circuit performing in some of the hottest and most prestigious house bands for the best part of 10 years. As a band, they have toured the UK and Europe performing at some of the best live venues festivals, weddings, parties, and events.
All prices shown for Betty and the Backbeats are based on their 4 piece line up of lead female vocals, guitar/vocals, double bass/vocals, and drums/vocals, and like all our acts all prices include a free song request (including your first dance), background DJ music, 2x60 or 3x40 min live sets, PLI and PAT certificates, PA, stage lighting and expenses. Make sure to ask us about all the various booking options available and please note that due to availability or illness, deputy musicians of a very professional standard may sometimes be used.

Requirements
The band generally will require a minimum of 3x4 metres of space to make sure they can set up safely. Please ask for rider details.
Gear
Along with their instruments (they do help), the band will provide top spec, full PA and lighting systems to cater for any event. Comprehensive PAT and PLI certification is supplied as standard.
Arrival and Set Up
The band can be flexible to suit your requirements, however, usually, set up time is roughly an hour. This time can vary depending on the complexity of the show.
Performance Duration
The band will typically play 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute sets, however, the band are flexible so please do ask if you have something more specific in mind. Extra sets or an early start/late finish available. Please contact us for more information.
Sound Limiter
Boo! However, we understand this is commonplace so all our acts have experience with venue sound limiters. If you’ve been instructed by your venue with anything specific, please be sure to let us know before hand.
