"I can’t sing. I do sing, in the shower, in church and in places so far from any other human being that I feel reasonably safe but if I am honest I can’t sing and probably shouldn’t. I wish I could sing and, after today, I wish I could sing like Carolina. She has something about her that isn’t just heard, it’s felt as well. I don’t mean that her singing has you welling up although some of her songs are so sweetly delivered that it can easily happen.
