Hare and the Hounds are an exciting Mumford & Sons inspired roaming acoustic folk band who light up weddings, parties and a whole host of events with their dynamic and interactive live show! If you love festival funtimes folk music, this is the band for you!
Specialising in acoustic performance, Hare and the Hounds can stroll through your event performing to mingling or seated guests for a truly unforgettable live experience for all.
If you had something more familiar in mind, Hare and the Hounds can also take to the stage as an acoustic trio of lead male vocals/acoustic guitar, lead male vocals/acoustic bass and lead male vocals/saxophone. For the full-on party atmosphere, they can also transform into a fully electric folk band and add a drummer which combined with their three-piece harmonies is a pretty amazing sight and sound!
Hare and the Hounds have one of the largest repertoires of any acoustic folk roaming band out there with songs for all people and all occasions and when you couple that with their breathtaking three-piece harmonies and authentic festival-folk sound, you really can't go wrong - a fantastic nights entertainment awaits!
Like all artists in the Seventh Second family, members of Hare and the Hounds have genuine musical pedigree with the talented members having toured on 4 different continents through more than 17 countries. They have been featured on BBC Radio, are established Spotify and YouTube artists with over 1.6 million views and have worked with artists including James Bourne (of Busted), Bad Religion, Sublime, Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake.
Hare and the Hounds are all about you and your event catering to your needs and as well as their excellent roaming service they offer flexible arrival and finish times, daytime acoustic sets, 2x60 or 3x40 minute live sets, extra evening sets, special song requests (including first dances), recording of your first dance or special song, a 300 song repertoire to choose from, full DJ'ing service or free DJ laptop music and full PA and lighting rig if needed. They really do cater for all events and tastes.
All prices shown are based on the popular roaming acoustic trio option which includes top-spec PA, lighting (if required), musical equipment and PLI and PAT certificates. Make sure to speak to one of our music experts for more information on other booking options including their popular roaming options. Please note: Due to availability or illness, deputy musicians of very a high professional standard may sometimes be used.

Requirements
The band generally will require a minimum of 3x4 metres of space to make sure they can set up safely. Please ask for rider details.
Gear
Along with their instruments (they do help), the band will provide top spec, full PA and lighting systems to cater for any event. Comprehensive PAT and PLI certification is supplied as standard.
Arrival and Set Up
The band can be flexible to suit your requirements, however, usually, set up time is roughly an hour. This time can vary depending on the complexity of the show.
Performance Duration
The band will typically play 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute sets, however, the band are flexible so please do ask if you have something more specific in mind. Extra sets or an early start/late finish available. Please contact us for more information.
Sound Limiter
Boo! However, we understand this is commonplace so all our acts have experience with venue sound limiters. If you’ve been instructed by your venue with anything specific, please be sure to let us know before hand.
