Band Bio
The 1920’s era was marked by amazing fashion and seductive music. Southside Sparkle with their infectious brand of 1920's goes pop musical renditions of classic and current tunes bring the nostalgic 1920’s right back into the new era complete with the glittering dresses, top musicianship and fantastic stagecraft. Based in Surrey and London, this highly adaptable yet highly specialised group can mould into any venue and occasion but truly come to life when complementing a themed wedding, party or event.
As with everyone in the Seventh Second family, these musicians have been there and are doing it and after touring the world performing for artists such as Peter Andre and Olly Murs in countries such as Paris, Dubai and New York they decided over a few cocktails in Leicester Square to form this cover band to bring the 1920’s back with an all be it, sultry, seductive bang! Since then, many high-profile clients and venues have come calling for this 1920’s revelation including, The Shard, The Dorchester, Sketch, Bibendum, Shutterstock, HSBC and Amazon. With such an exceptional and adaptive line-up, they are in high demand and well worth booking in advance.
As mentioned, Southside Sparkle can blend into any occasion or with the bigger line-ups, flood any wedding, party or event with a wave of 1920’s musical magic. Dancing, singing, and jiving is all guaranteed with any variation.
Popular line-ups generally consist of:
Trio - female vocals, double bass and keys
Quartet - female vocals, double bass, keys and drums
5 piece - female vocals, double bass, keys, trumpet and drums
9 piece - female vocals x3, male vocalist/guitar, double bass, keys, trumpet, sax and drums
Girls only group - female vocals x3 plus the quartet or 5 piece
Men only group - male singer/guitar plus the quartet or 5 piece

As with all Seventh Second bands, all Southside Sparkle variants include PA, lighting, top of the range equipment and relevant PLI and PAT certs for any show free of charge. Prices shown are based on the most affordable 3 piece version of Southside Sparkle which consists of female vocals, double bass and piano. Please ask us about bigger line ups and prices. Please note: Due to availability or illness, deputy musicians of very a high professional standard may sometimes be used.

Requirements
The band generally will require a minimum of 3x4 metres of space to make sure they can set up safely. Please ask for rider details.
Gear
Along with their instruments (they do help), the band will provide top spec, full PA and lighting systems to cater for any event. Comprehensive PAT and PLI certification is supplied as standard.
Arrival and Set Up
The band can be flexible to suit your requirements, however, usually, set up time is roughly an hour. This time can vary depending on the complexity of the show.
Performance Duration
The band will typically play 2 x 60 or 3 x 40 minute sets, however, the band are flexible so please do ask if you have something more specific in mind. Extra sets or an early start/late finish available. Please contact us for more information.
Sound Limiter
Boo! However, we understand this is commonplace so all our acts have experience with venue sound limiters. If you’ve been instructed by your venue with anything specific, please be sure to let us know before hand.
