What a tune this is! Don’t Stop Believin’ starts our top 10 as it’s become really popular at weddings over the last few years. We love to perform this tune as it’s fun, vibrant and such a classic that no one will forget how you finished off your wedding party. With a wedding band that sports a fantastic keyboardist like From the Top do, you can get everyone up on the dance floor one last time and end your wedding with a bang!

Another total classic, Africa by TOTO has exploded onto the wedding scene. It’s always been a favourite with us wedding musicians because of its African vibes and fantastic lyrics but now it’s taken dance hungry wedding parties by storm too. Africa is a great last dance song if you want everyone around you smiling and dancing away and will again be fresh in everyone’s memories as they look back on your fantastic wedding day.

Do you love a singalong? Maybe that’s the only way you can end your wedding day then! It’s hard to beat Neil Diamond’s singalong classic and time and again when our live wedding band The Usual Suspects burst into life with this song it gets everyone and their gran up on that dance floor. It’s fun, it’s happy and it’s easy to enjoy. A great way to end the night then!

The League of Gentlemen can’t count the number of times they’ve performed this song and it’s no surprise really. It has one of the best singalongs going as everyone joins hands and sings at the top of their lungs during the outro! What more could you ask from a last dance song? It’s also pretty simple to dance too so no one has any excuse not to get involved!

If you love a bit of classic Britpop and dream of that perfect group dance at the end of your wedding with all your friends and family united, you can’t go far wrong with Wonderwall by Oasis. Good Fellas are pros at performing this song and it’s most popular as a last dance as its nostalgic, epic and seems to suit the vibe of a great days celebrating coming to an end.

It’s just one classic after another with my top 10 list today and New York, New York firmly fits that bill. Who doesn’t know, love and sing along to this classic? Franks song is a safe pair of vintage hands when it comes to last dance choices and our act Night and Day can testify to that. This tune is right up their musical street and wedding guests love watching them perform it.

Not always a song people think of, Take That’s Never Forget is none the less a brilliantly epic last dance song to end your wedding with. If you never want your wedding to end, this could be a song for you as it’s over 6 minutes long! All our wedding bands happily play this over their PA systems and it’s always well received by wedding parties. If you love a good old boy band, you can’t get much better than Take That and this tune.

I said not to miss out on number 8 on my top 10 list because this is one seriously underused last dance song. Celebration is quite simply happiness and celebration rolled up into one big bundle of musical joy. Who wouldn’t want their wedding to end with such joy?! Award-winning wedding band Party Republic testify to this song’s amazing attributes and will perform it any time they can. Celebration is a great choice of last dance song which you won’t regret one bit!

I don’t think much needs to be said when it comes to Bohemian Rhapsody! Performed at countless weddings week in week out, it’s such a fantastic song that choosing it for your wedding is almost a no brainer. As a last dance song, it’s a quirky, classic epic and means your wedding will seemingly never end with the song lasting a whole 6 minutes. It’s a very fun 6 minutes though so choose this song and get ready for a great end to your wedding.

I end my top 10 with some poptastic ‘90s music from Robbie Williams. Angels is arguably his biggest tune and people still love it because they can get together and have a good old sing-song. What’s better than your whole wedding party coming together and singing their hearts out to celebrate your marriage? I can’t think of anything much better so maybe Angels is for you! Nostalgia and a bit of romance await…
