"We booked Gold Dust as our wedding band. The brief we gave them was to play songs from current chart music, r&b classic rock and Motown, which covered the tastes of our guests. Booking a live band from Seventh Second made the evening all the more special but we were also thrilled to hear that the band offered an additional DJ service during the intervals and an acoustic set while the food was served. This made our wedding something to remember for everyone involved. We made several requests of certain songs to be played throughout the evening which the band played amazingly, our first dance was Norah Jones “Come Away with Me” and really meant a lot to us both. "Ridiculously simple, affordable and user-friendly I wasn’t sure about live music with the potential of pandemic related reschedules (we’re on attempt number 3) and I had also left it late for the reason above. By the time I started I was on a couple of pages that said something like “Starting at £1,600…” and when the price came in it was closer to £4,000 with booking fees, transport, expenses etc. I was starting to lose hope. Then, I stumbled across Seventh Second and everything changed. Firstly, the website actually gave me a great sense of the bands I was reviewing. Most had videos of them performing. Others had the audio. I was able to quickly make a “shortlist” by clicking a button on the ones I was interested in. Rocket science, it was not. Then came crunch time, Jon reached out with the news that many of my selections were available. In addition to re-watching/re-listening the clips, I was also able to review the song lists and numerous reviews from previous clients. I had an extremely good idea of what to expect from the bands I was choosing between. Jon – a musician himself and founding member of the team – was at my side throughout the process. A phone call was instrumental (haha) at answering some of my questions as I’d never booked anything like this before. Even the quotes were in a unified manner e.g. same set time, start/finish, everything included. It makes it so much easier that I was simply choosing between the band and then price vs also having to compare mitigating factors that would have caused unnecessary confusion. I don’t intend on getting married again so won’t need them for this specific purpose but I will find a way to use Seventh Second again. Seventh Second are a shining example of what a vendor should be. Great job Jon and team. "
